Skiing and Riding at Its Best!

More Snow, New Lines... With snow depths ranging from 17 to 28 feet, Kirkwood is the biggest snow depository in North America! The mountain is covered with so much snow, the landscape has changed; there are new lines and options from one end of the ridgeline to the other. The Backside (Chairs 3 & 4) and Timber Creek (Chairs 7 & 9) will close for the season on April 23rd; the closing date for the resort is April 30th. From good cold snow on the north facing aspects such as Thunder Saddle and Sentinel Bowl to beautiful spring conditions on all sunny slopes, Kirkwood is spring skiing and riding at its best.

The DC Stomping Grounds terrain park is the main stage for Kirkwood Jammin’, as well as the key spot for spring fun in the sun. The park features a new 24 foot quarterpipe, as well as several new hits, spines, fun boxes and rails. The DC Playground, Halfpipe and Adventureland will close for the season on April 23rd; the DC Stomping Grounds will be open until closing day, April 30th.

For the latest snow totals, resort operations and road conditions, visit www.kirkwood.com or call 1-877-KIRKWOOD.
