Bear Valley EXTENDS 06/07 Season to April 22nd
BEAR VALLEY TO EXTEND THE SEASON TO APRIL 22ND. Recent storms dumped up to 14 inches of new snow, bringing the base depth up to 6 feet, creating terrific skiing and snowboarding conditions at Bear Valley Mountain Resort. As a result, Bear Valley has extended its season to Sunday, April 22, 2007.
The resort will be closed Monday, April 16 to Friday April 20. The resort will reopen for the weekend of April 21 and 22 to give skiers and riders an opportunity to enjoy the spring conditions.

BV Slopestyle and Progression Session THIS Weekend- March 31st
We will have our final progression session and BV Slopestyle event this weekend, March 31st. This Progression Session is your Last Chance for FREE lessons in our Cub Terrain Park given by our FreeRide instructors - bring your skis or your board and a helmet and sign-up. You'll be onyour way to newfun in the snow. Open to all Ages.

Happy Easter!Easter Sunday & Season Pass Holder Appreciation - April 8th
Look forward to a full day of activities, beginning with the Easter Sunrise Service at 7:30. We will hold a non-denominational service at Koala top - there is nothing more spectacular or spiritual than the early morning views from Koala Ridge. A special Easter Brunch will be available to all guests in the Hungry Bear Food Court, and an Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10am for kids 10 and under. Bear Valley, to show its appreciation, will serve a special lunch to all current season pass holders beginning at 11:30.

Afternoon of Wine and Jazz- April 7th
Come relax after an exhilarating day on the mountain! On Saturday, April 7th Bear Valley hosts an Afternoon of Wine & Jazz. The day will feature an array of local wines, gourmet cheese & bread and live music from Jazz at 8000. There's no better way spend your afternoon. The afternoon benefits the Bear Valley Music Festival, a non-profit organization that offers a full symphony orchestra, international soloists, legendary entertainers, and renowned opera stars in a unique mountain setting every August. A $15 donation to the Music Festival includes a commemorative wine glass and eight tastings.

take place at the Sierra Telemark Center on both days.

Squaw Valley USA on Easter Sunday, April 8. Homewood Mountain
Resort celebrates with a visit from the Bunny Saturday, April 7,
and an egg hunt for kids up to 12 years of age. Additional spring
break events include full moon snowshoe tours at Sugar Pine Point
State Park March 31 and Northstar-at-Tahoe April 1. Visitors wanting
