Avalanche Seminar Tonight

Spend an evening learning about the awesome phenomenon of avalanches
this Thursday, November 12 at Sports Basement in Sunnyvale from 6:30 -
8:30 PM. Join Aaron Johnson from Mountain Adventure Seminars (MAS) in
Bear Valley for an educational and exciting 2-hour multimedia
presentation covering the basics of avalanche classification,
formation, and release. Emphasis will be on how avalanches pertain to
back country winter travelers and how to stay out of harms way. This
program is a great primer before taking an avalanche education course
or as a refresher before heading on a back country adventure.
