Slopestyle Competition This Saturday !! cj.team

$1500.00 Cash Purse

Head to the slopes this Saturday, Jan 31st for our first BV Slopestyle Comp. We've got the snow, so we're building it up so you can come show us what you got. We're offering up cash prizes and lots of sweet swag to give away too. Helmets are required for this event and if you're under 18, you need a parent's release. Registration will be open from 9:30a - 10:30a at our slope-side Special Events Shack. Event starts at HIgh NOON! Course: Kodiak Park.

"The Beach at Bear Top" will be open this Saturday. Don't need sand to have fun in the Sun. Bear Valley's "Beach at Bear Top" is a great spot to meet up with friends, get a little grub or wet your whistle. No need to head all the way down to the main lodge for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink. We'll provide the Beach Chairs, so come on up and hang out in between runs.

TODAY ON THE MOUNTAIN

Clear weather in the forecast through this week and into the weekend with over 2 feet of fresh snow that fell the last 4 days...Now is the time...c'mon up and enjoy!!

NSAA Safety Week message of the day: Observe posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.

Want a tip on where to ride? Ask a patroller, they'll love to give you the inside track on where the gettin' is good. Also, if you need any questions answered while around the lodge, seek out any staff member with a Bear Valley Mtn logo on their jacket and they'll be happy to help out. We're currently at an average 35" base so don't let the lack of recent snowfall turn you away. Locals and visitors alike are having super fun and finding some great runs on and off the groomed areas. And like we always do.....Send your best to the Snow Gods for more fresh turns! Bear Valley Ski Patrol.

Bear Valley Cross-Country center is open with 31 trails for a total of 46 kilometers available, 27 trails with groomed track and skating lanes and 4 snowshoe only trails. The Meadow Cafe and  Sledding Hill are open for business daily.
