Getting Ready for Winter!

The Lift Maintenance Team has been busy this summer with routine maintenance on all inspectorlifts. We recently, successfully, completed 2 required "Dynamic Testings" on both Koala and Super Cub Chairlifts. We have another "Dynamic Test" scheduled for Pooh Lift before the ski season begins. These "Dynamic Testings" simulate a completed loaded lift of skiers/snowboarders and test all braking mechanisms. It is an Industry requirement to have lifts "Dynamic Tested" every 7 years. In addition, we are completing our State of California Tramway Section Lift Inspections. These State inspections occur twice per year, once during the summer and another during mid-winter. Our Lift Maintenance team looks forward to an early winter and lots of snow and will have all lifts ready and operational.
