Big Plans for Heavenly, Hot Summer Deals!

This summer is going to be particularly hot and we're not talking about the weather! In addition to big acts like Beyonce, Fergie, Incubus and Rascal Flats visiting the South Shore, Heavenly is also breaking ground on a new development in town, and making some major on-mountain improvements!

 Big Plans for Heavenly
Heavenly Mountain Resort's 2006 Master Plan Amendment has been approved, charting the course for Heavenly as a premiere mountain destination for the next 10 years, and putting Heavenly at the forefront of environmental stewardship within the snowsports industry. When all is said and done, Heavenly will have three new on-mountain restaurants, eight new or upgraded lifts, and acres upon acres of new ski trails. These improvements will solidify Heavenly's position as Lake Tahoe's #1 snowsports destination!

Phase 1 Projects proposed to be ready for 2007-08 winter season:

Olympic Express
Chairlift will provide high-speed access to some of the best tree skiing on the planet		 A skier bridge
that will allow skiers and riders to ski from the Gondola top station to Tamarack Express
 
3 new trails
in the Olympic Northbowl area
A zip line
adventure ride for summer use
