2 Feet of Fresh Powder Hits Bear Valley

FRESH SNOW BLANKETS BEAR VALLEY
Two feet of fresh snow has covered Bear Valley over the last few days, with even more snow on the way! The National Weather Service is calling for a break in the storms tomorrow, making it a HUGE powder day. So grab your fatties and hit the slopes! Grizzly Bowl is projected to open mid-morning, where fresh tracks are almost guaranteed. Awesome top-to-bottom conditions await. DLF FOUNDATION SLIDES INTO BEAR VALLEY
The 5th annual Slide for the Cure will take place on Saturday, March 11th. Proceeds will benefit the Darren Lee Farwell (DLF) Foundation, a local non-profit organization committed to teaching today's children the dangers of tomorrow's sun. They're mission of educating people about the effect of the sun and the seriousness of all forms of skin cancer, takes a lighter note through Slide for the Cure, a ski/board- a-thon open to all skill levels. Only $50 gets participants a lift ticket, lunch, t-shirt & goodie bag! For every lap they take, skiers & boarders are entered into a raffle full of sweet prizes. The day also includes a brewfest, live music, a raffle and plenty of activities for kids. You won't want to miss the Moley Krishnas up on stage! For more information call 866-INFO-DLF.

EASY STEPS TO ONE-STOP SHOPPING
We know how hectic the morning can be trying to organize the family... Between tickets, rentals and lessons, let us do the hard work for you! Instead of purchasing tickets, lessons, or rentals in different places, bypass the ticket windows and make all of your purchases in Snow Sports or Rentals.

Step 1:
Head to Bear Valley.
Step 2: (ages 4-8) Families with younger children experience ultimate one-stop shopping at the Children's Center. Register your little ones for a Skiing Bears or Cub Riders lesson, and purchase tickets, lessons or rentals for the whole family there too!

(ages 9+)
Groups with kids ages 9+ save time by making the first stop at Snow Sports or Rentals, and pay for all of your lift tickets, rental equipment and lessons in one stop!
