Hello Sliders!
If you only read, or pass along one newsletter to your friends
during the season, this is it. Why?
Because Labor Day weekend signals the unofficial beginning of the
ski/snowboard season when resorts and retailers blow out gear at
up to 80% off. We shop the tent sales, so should you if you want
the best value in sliding hardware and apparel.
*How do I know if I need new gear, Mr. SOTC?
Okay. Good question.
Check off one of the following, and you're in need of new gear.
Check off two or more, you're in need of a life...
(1) Winter outfits include one-piece bag-like suits.
(2) Do you own a pair of stretch pants that require entry by jumping
from a second story building? Do said pants have knee pads?
(3) Do any of your jackets, or suits include sequin patterns?
(4) Are your skis long enough to pick fruit from a tree?
(5) Are your skis skinny enough to use as a pole fault?
(6) Are your boots, or jackets/pants for that matter, neon?
(7) Do your snowboard boots double as bedroom slippers?
Answer yes to any of the above? Shop now and avoid the obligatory
snickering from behind while in the lift line, or lodge resturant.
*Season Passes!
Some Season Pass deals are ending Labor Day Weekend. Season Passes,
once the chattels of the affluent have gone mainstream. That means
