| Martin Luther King Holiday Kicks Off Weekend Festivities There's no shortage of activities this weekend to keep your family on the snow! From Safety Awareness, to Giant Slalom Races to a mesmerizing torchlight parade, there'ssomething for everyone in the family! SAFETY AWARNESS WEEK National Safety Awareness Week (January 19th - 25th) features week long activities on snow safety. Our mountain operations are hard at work building sculptures highlighting the Skier's Responsibility Code and you'll get to vote for your favorite scene! Stop by our Patrol booth located at the day lodge from 11a-4p on Saturday (Jan. 19th), or until noon on Sunday (Jan. 20th) to cast your vote. Winner will be announced Sunday evening. Saturday will also offer up a Scavenger Hunt with a chance for some sweet BV swag - just swing by the Patrol booth for details!! Once the slopes close on Sunday, we'll have a Safety Game Show for the kids in the Sunroom. AT&T GS RACE This family fun race is open to all ages and abilities on Saturday, January 19th. Using Nastar Standards, come out and test your times against other Bear Valley skiers &snowboarders, and don't forget the raffle after the race!
