Plans are underway to celebrate the newly constructed
State Route between Angels Camp, CA and Murphys, CA. Several local and state entities, are working on a plans for a kick-off party on July 21'st and a ribbon cutting ceremony that will take place on July 22, 2009. The public is invited to join in this Free event. Several mountain vendor will have product and discounts on hand, they'll be food, live music and more...The event will end with participants invited to create a formation on the hwy spelling out the words 'MOUNTAIN FUN'...each participant will receive a free commemorative tee-shirt - sponsored by Bear Valley Mtn, Golden State Cellular, Black Oak Casino, Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital, Calaveras Telephone, Greenhorn Creek, Cave & Mine Adventures, OARs and Sequoia shirts ....click here for more.
