Alpine Meadows woke up to some of the season’s finest light powder today with temperatures hovering in the teens and the storm that dropped 25”-31” of fantastic snow. Since December 19th, Alpine has received 6 to 8 feet of snowfall. While the weather has been tempermental thus far, the New Year is shaping up to be great for skiers and boarders.

Alpine’s “new” Park and Pipe Jam Series will be running on Saturdays, Feb 12 and 26, Mar 12 and 26, Apr 2, 9, 16 and 23. Our new rail jam series is free with a lift ticket or pass, ride from 10am – 12pm and 2pm to 4pm with the best single run in as many laps as you can make. Alpine’s judging crew will be awarding prizes to first, second and third place in one open category. Sign up at the Kangaroo Race Shack where you’ll get a bib and need to sign a liability release (if under 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign).
